Sharansky’s ‘Never Alone’: A Must Read

Natan Sharansky and Gil Troy’s latest book, “Never Alone” is essential reading for anyone who cares about or is interested in the Israel-Diaspora relations. His Jewish identity provided him a sense of purpose and of belonging and was the key to being free in a totalitarian state that sought to control everything, including one’s thoughts. The book helps to explain some of the struggles and differences between the Jews of Israel and the Diaspora. To read my review which appeared in the Times of Israel, click here.
